Meet your guide
Hi, I'm Sam.
The muddy boots, the big heart, and the human behind Wild Paws Adventures Co.
Every Legend Has an Origin Story
My love for animals has been a lifelong thing. Over the years I've had the privilege of sharing my home with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels — from tiny cuddle bugs to big, goofy, high-energy pups. I've always loved getting to know what makes each dog tick and building a relationship based on trust, patience, and a whole lot of fun.
Before stepping into the world of professional dog walking, I ran a home daycare for eight years, caring for little ones from infancy through their toddler years. It taught me a lot about managing groups, understanding individual needs, and creating an environment where everyone feels safe, comfortable, and cared for — lessons that have carried over surprisingly well into working with dogs.
I joined Pawttawa Walks in the fall of 2025, and what started as a new adventure quickly became something I absolutely loved. Over the past year I've had the chance to get to know some amazing dogs and their humans, lead pack walks, and experience just how special the bond between a dog and their person really is.
Now, Wild Paws Adventures Co. is the next chapter — built from that same love of dogs, adventure, and the joy that comes from watching a pup come home happy, tired, and covered in a little bit of mud.
Every dog has a legend inside them.
My Promise to You
When your dog joins Wild Paws, they aren't just another dog on the schedule. I want to know their quirks, their favourite things, their comfort zones, and the little things that make them them. Every dog has a legend inside them — and it's my job to help unleash it.
Safety First
All different pack sizes, fully fenced parks, and treats every walk.
Every Dog Is Different
I take the time to understand your dog's personality, needs, and comfort zone.

And Then There's Thor.
I can't talk about my life with dogs without mentioning my own best buddy — Thor, a Lab-Dane mix with the calm heart of Eeyore and the playful bounce of Tigger. He's been a huge part of my life and is a pretty perfect example of why I believe every dog deserves to be understood for who they are. Thor is the soul of Wild Paws Adventures, and the reason I believe every dog has a legend worth unleashing.
